BlueRim Tutoring provides quality private tutoring in English, writing, grammar, research, transferable skills, linguistics, ESL, and German for high school and university students, working professionals, and anyone eager to learn—with an emphasis on achieving learning goals while building confidence and independence. Individual and small group sessions are available in North Vancouver, at SFU Burnaby, and online, with flexible scheduling seven days a week.

Improve your understanding of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, language structure, linguistic datasets analysis, first and second language acquisition, grammar, and many other linguistics topics. Get clear, practical help with your linguistics coursework, assignments, and academic writing, including term papers, qualifying papers, and thesis writing.

Rates

• CAD $70 / hour — 1 learner (1:1)

• CAD $40 / hour per person — 2 learners (2:1)

• CAD $30 / hour per person — 3–4 learners

• CAD $20 / hour per person — 5+ learners

About BlueRim Tutoring 

I am a patient and encouraging instructor with over 20 years of post-secondary teaching experience in Vancouver, along with extensive experience tutoring learners of all ages one-on-one and in small groups.

To me, teaching is about focusing on your goals, adjusting to your needs, and strengthening your transferable skills in an interactive and collaborative learning environment.
